What is an incorporated document?

An incorporated document is a document that is read in conjunction with the planning scheme for the effect of the scheme to be understood. It carries the same weight as other parts of the planning scheme.

Where in the planning scheme are the incorporated documents listed?

An incorporated document is listed in clause 72.04 or the schedule to clause 72.04, if a document is not listed in clause 72.04 then it is not an incorporated document.

To access clause 72.04 of a planning scheme, visit browse planning schemes and follow the navigation instructions.

Where can I access an incorporated document?

Once you have located the relevant planning scheme via browse planning schemes, incorporated documents can be found by selecting the ‘incorporated documents’ tab. Here you can download and view copies of incorporated documents for that planning scheme.
