Amendment

The amendment rezones the site from a Public Use Zone 2 (Education) to Residential Growth Zone Schedule 3, applies a new Development Plan Overlay Schedule 31 and the Environmental Audit Overlay, and amends the Schedule to Clause 53.01 (Public Open Space Contribution and Subdivision) to update the amount of contribution for public open space.

It removes the existing Heritage Overlay (HO25) and Neighbourhood Character Overlay Schedule 1 from part of the site, and amends Clause 15.01-5L and Clause 15.01-5L-06 to update the area of land affected by the Golden Square neighbourhood character policy.

It amends the Schedule to Clause 43.01 (Heritage Overlay) to insert one new heritage place and statement of significance relating to the former school building and heritage significant peppercorn tree (HO916).

It will apply a Heritage Overlay (HO916) to part of the site, amends the Schedule to Clause 72.04 (Incorporated Document) to insert a new incorporated document, and amends the Schedule to Clause 72.08 (Background Documents) to insert a new background document.
