The Minister for Planning referred proposed Amendment GC104 to the Greater Geelong and Surf Coast Planning Schemes (amendment) to the Government Land Standing Advisory Committee (advisory committee) for advice and recommendations.
The amendment seeks to facilitate the Waurn Ponds Train Maintenance and Stabling Facility.

Minister's decision
The Minister for Planning has approved the amendment as recommended by the advisory committee, with further changes.
The approved Amendment GC104 to the Greater Geelong and Surf Coast planning schemes was gazetted on 2 July 2020.
