Stream: This site was considered under Planning Stream A, which required a planning scheme amendment to be approved, and exempted from notice under S20(4) for the Planning and Environment Act 1987.
Amendment: Rezones the land at 23A Smith Road, Springvale, formally referred to as Crown Allotment 2250, Parish of Dandenong, from Commercial 2 Zone (C2Z) to Public Use Zone 5 - Cemetery and Crematoria (PUZ5). The land forms part of the Springvale Botanical Cemetery precinct and will facilitate an extension of the Springvale Crematorium and Cemetery by the Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (SMCT).
