Description of proposal
ARTC Inland Rail is seeking planning approval for proposed buildings and works on an existing 330kV transmission line off the Lincoln Causeway Gateway Island, Victoria. The works are required as part of the Inland Rail Beveridge to Albury Project, to achieve the vertical clearances between the north eastern rail line and the existing transmission line for double-stacked freight trains. The proposed works involve the installation of three monopole structures adjacent to the rail corridor to achieve vertical clearances between the transmission line and the rail.
