Description of proposal
s72 Amendment: to amend wording of Conditions 5 (Demolition), 8 (Stormwater Drainage), 28 (Façade Strategy) and 40 (Construction Management Plan) to allow demolition and remediation works on site to occur prior to compliance with the requirements of the conditions. Delete Condition 39 (Demolition Management Plan). Amend Condition 11 (Temporary Activation) to remove wording tying s173 approval on the subject site with the commencement of Permit No. TP-2015-60/A at 64-68 Clarendon Street, Southbank. To extend timeframe of entering into the S173 agreement from within 6 months of demolition or removal of existing buildings or works, to 18 months. To amend wording of sub conditions a, b and c to include excavation, piling, site preparation works, and contamination remediation works as part of the construction activity. To amend wording of Conditions 29 (Materials and Finishes Board) and 37 (Landscape Plan) to exclude piling and works to remediate contaminated land as a trigger requirement to achieve relevant endorsement satisfaction with the Responsible Authority.
