Description of proposal

53.22 To construct two (2) new buildings on the site, with ancillary offices, for the purpose of a ‘data centre’.  The buildings will present as two warehouse-style buildings, finished in a range of materials, colours and finishes to articulate the design to the street. Site wide security fencing and external lighting with appropriate landscaping[[AG1]|] around the perimeter of the site are essential design features to safeguard the operation and ensure the security of the site. The two buildings will also be separated via security fencing, with separate entry and exit points from their respective street frontages. Car parking, loading facilities and offices with staff amenities will also be provided to both buildings to support the use. No signage is proposed as part of the application.
